The Asian Vision Institute and the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh organize a public lecture on ” U.S. Economic Engagement with U.S. Companies in the ASEAN Region” on Thursday, 01 April 2021, from 09:15 A.M. (Time in Phnom Penh, Cambodia). Mr Matthew P. Goodman, senior vice president for Asian economics and Simon Chair in Political Economy at Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and Dr Chheng Kimlong, director of AVI Center for Governance Innovation and Democracy and AVI vice president, will discuss the opportunities, challenges, and technical and geo-economic aspects of U.S. economic engagement in the region (and beyond). This lecture will be moderated by Mr Sok Kha, an AVI fellow and development consultant and researcher. You will have a chance to ask questions and engage with the speakers during the Q&A session. The public lecture will be conducted via Zoom and live-streamed on AVI’s Facebook page.
