The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the speed of digital transformation due to its role in facilitating daily activities, from easy access to information to e-commerce and e-learning. While the digital advancement in urban zones is robust, its development in rural areas remains stagnant.

The sixteenth session of the AVI-SDGs Dialogue Series on “Cambodian Rural Development in the Digital Age” will highlight Cambodia’s progress and challenges in pushing the rural development in the digital era. Prominent leaders and researchers working in the related field will be invited as our honourable speakers for this session.
