The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) also requires agriculture to be revolutionised, specifically when it comes to agriculture-based countries like Cambodia. Agriculture 4.0 transforms traditional agricultural production methods and global agriculture strategies into an optimal value chain using a variety of 4IR technologies that improve disruptive solutions at all stages of the agricultural production chain. Furthermore, the application of Agriculture 4.0 can help minimise financial and ecological losses by efficiently using resources. This article illustrates the current progress and future application of Agriculture 4.0 in Cambodia and the policy framework to adopt it.
