Cambodia’s Active Role in Achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13 on Climate Action

Climate change causes considerable damage to human society. It brings devastating effects on the environment and daily life of people. The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development expressed its commitment to protecting the planet through Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13 on “Climate Action” to take urgent action to combat climate change and its impact globally. As one of the UN members, Cambodia has worked its best to combat global climate change to reach the goals of SDG 13. This article discusses Cambodia’s efforts in tackling climate change and provides recommendations on addressing the challenges.
