Differences in political and social systems, history, culture, and development stages must be put aside. At the same time, joint efforts for the sustainability of the Planet Earth and the prosperity of the global village shall be the shared noble goal. He also urged the new generation of leaders across the region to uphold, strengthen and reform the international order by promoting the rules-based trading system and fighting against protectionism in all its manifestations, for multilateralism and the liberalisation of trade and investment as well as unimpeded supply chains are imperative for an inclusive and sustainable post-COVID-19 recovery.
