SOK Dareth, is currently serving as Deputy Director of Southeast Asia Department, General Department of Asia-Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. His core functions deal with bilateral cooperation between Cambodia-Viet Nam; Cambodia-Singapore and Cambodia – the Philippines. His exceptional capacity in discharging his tasks has largely contributed to the implementation and development of Cambodian foreign policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Moreover, he proves to have high capacity to coordinating with Cambodian line Ministries in the implementation of various bilateral cooperation with their foreign counterparts. He has 8 years of experience with his carrier as a young diplomat. He received BA in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in 2008, MA in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in 2011, and PhD of Philosophy in History, from Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in Hanoi, Viet Nam in 2016.
