On 07 April 2022, Mr. Chhem Siriwat, Director of the Centre for Inclusive Digital Economy (CIDE) at Asian Vision Institute (AVI), was invited as a panelist for the webinar “Cybersecurity and Trust: Building Mutual Trust to Enhance Digital Economy”, organized by KSI Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific and Huawei Malaysia. Siriwat shared that Cambodia’s presence in the digital era and cyberspace is often underrepresented and overshadowed. As such, the goal of his presentation was to provide a current overview of Cambodia’s digital economy and cybersecurity status.
